We are best known for our neatly packaged ready to eat smoked, salted, fermented dried fish varieties. Our fish comes in whole, chunks, fillets, powder, cubed and paste forms. Our wide range product list includes smoked catfish (Clarias gariepinus), smoked herrings (Clupea herrengus), smoked salmon, smoked atlantic mackerel (Scomber scrombrus), smoked shrimps ( Caridea), sun dried and smoked anchovies ( Engraulidae), smoked naked catfish ( bagrus bayad ), smoked barracuda (Sphyraena sphyraena), smoked nile perch ( Lates niloticus), and salted nile awrona (Heterotis niloticus), smoked and salted tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), fermented fishes locally known in Ghana as Momone and many more.
Mr Fish Processing Hub was awarded Ashanti Region Best Fish Processor in 2021 at the 37th National Farmers Day and was again nominated for the National Best Fish Processor in Ghana in 2024.

Our fishes are distinctly sourced from certified farms, lakes and rivers of Ghana and the Atlantic Ocean. We passionately prepare, cure and carefully process to meet EU standards for the Ghanaian market and Africans in the diaspora. We have maintained the traditional smoky taste in our smoked fish products using a unique smoke free technique to process our fish. We are committed to ensure safety over profits.
The company is organized on four functional lines: – Technical, Finance, Admin/HR and Supply Chain Management. The management is vested in the CEO and his team of departmental heads who ensure that the objectives and guidelines set by the project are achieved.
Currently, BenJBelle is headed by Mr. Bernard Osei; the CEO with over fifteen years’ experience in Aquaculture; he has been with the company since inception and he is the technical lead. His journey started as the Farm Manager for Benjbelle Farms and the Secretary of the Ashanti Regional Fish Farmers Association in 2015. He has undergone professional training in aquaculture farm management, and has helped the company win the best fish processor at the 37th Farmer’s Day celebration in the Ashanti Region in 2021. He has undertaken several aquaculture projects such as Cage Farming on Mined Out Pit Lakes, Commercial Tank Culture and Fresh Water / Wild Fish Culture Projects. He holds a degree in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His level of experience and expertise contributes massively to the successful running of the business operations.
Mrs. Rosebella Osei is the Operations and Business Development Director of BenJBelle Company Ltd. As a co-founder, she helps develop the Strategy for the business and oversees the business development aspects of the business. She holds a master’s degree in International Business Management and she is an Aquaculture enthusiast. She has worked in various industries like the Fish and Mining industries manning leadership roles and with great achievements in Business Improvement and Operational Excellence. At BenJBelle, she contributed immensely to the Company being adjudged the best fish processor at the 37th Farmer’s Day celebration. She has undergone professional training in aquaculture farm and processing management. She holds strong competencies in business and career coaching, business optimization, strategy and change management. She is naturally a people person and coupled with these competencies are the reasons why she has a good relationship with the women from the community and is helping them with skill acquisition and job creation through our Fish Processing training program.
